Create your own cover in 3 easy steps:
We would like to give you some more tips on the practical side of creating a cover (and poster) in the makerspace.
Create an account and try out the makerspace for free. Creating an online magazine is also free. You only pay when you order a printed copy of your cover or magazine.
Choose an appealing photo or illustration. A good cover is 70% image and 30% text. It is therefore important that your image or illustration can be placed large and that it stands out, so that it is a real eye-catcher.
Now you can place all the texts neatly together, in the same font and in the same size. If it looks too dull, you can play around with the text. Don't do it too much, it will make the whole thing a bit messy.
Use capitals (UPPERCASE) and a striking colour here and there next to the basic colour. When you're almost finished, check whether all texts are clearly legible on the background. Make sure there is enough contrast between the background and the text.
Print your cover as a poster for an original gift
You can create a cover as a gift in different formats, which are available as posters. With the makerspace you can create a cover and print it as a poster.
You can create a cover or magazine by sending invitations together via the makerspace. Your family members, friends or colleagues can then fill a page themselves. You will see the magazine slowly take shape until it becomes a full-fledged magazine.
