A glimpse into the future
After the wedding, the future awaits. In the movies, it's like this: After the wedding, the credits roll. Then, when the lovers have (finally!) found each other, looked deep into each other's eyes at the altar and celebrated a lavish party with family and friends, everything is over. In real life, however, life together is only just beginning.
What does the future hold?
In order not to let the bride and groom, for whom you are creating a beautiful wedding magazine, float into the future without a clue, we recommend that you take a winking look into the crystal ball and include your predictions for the future of the bride and groom in the wedding magazine. This is where your humour is a perfect tool.
Themes for crystal ball gazing
In your look into the future of the bride and groom together, you can pick up on all of life's important topics. We suggest the following: Love, children and family, living situation, work, health and travel. But think about what are important topics in the lives of "your" bride and groom? What hobbies and commonalities do the bride and groom share? What plans, goals and wishes do they have? You can take all this into account and include it in your crystal ball.
Wording - what you could bear in mind
The texts for the funny future prospects should be just that: funny, tongue-in-cheek and humorous. But keep it positive and friendly. Small side-swipes are allowed, of course, but it's best not to paint dark future scenarios. Always keep the couple in mind when formulating your text and think about how it will be received by them. After all, you want them to enjoy the magazine.
The photos for your article
Use a nice, current couple of the bride and groom for your article. Show this in a large format and supplement it with smaller pictures that show the couple (and possible children, travel destinations, real estate, etc.) in the future. You can find suitable photos and illustrations on the internet that you can use to represent the couple in later years. You may also be able to use photos of older family members. Caution: Be sure to ask them if they agree. You can show them symbolically for the later stages of life. You can also show children's photos of the bride and groom as an example of the couple's children.
The template
In the makerspace you can use several templates for a magazine project and adapt it according to your own wishes and ideas. By the way, this is also a great example of how not only our wedding magazine templates are perfect for designing a wedding magazine. With a little imagination, colour and a change of fonts, you can adapt any template to (almost) any other theme.
